Code of Conduct for Modern Day Knights

“For I delight in loyalty rather than sacrifice, and in the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings” (Hosea 6:6).

“Whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave” (Matthew 20:26-27).

“What is desirable in a man is his kindness” (Proverbs 19:22).

“Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves” (Philippians 2:3).

‘Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe” (1 Timothy 4:12).

“Therefore, laying aside falsehood, speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, for we are members of one another” (Ephesians 4:25).

“Have nothing to do with worldly fables…. On the other hand, discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness; for bodily discipline is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come” (1 Timothy 4:7-8).

“Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win” (1 Corinthians 9:24).

“He who walks in integrity walks securely,But he who perverts his ways will be found out” (Proverbs 10:9).

“Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary” (Galatians 6:9).

Raising-a-Modern-Day-Knight-by-Robert-Lewis.I believe this book will point you in the right direction while you help your son toward manhood.  If you don’t have a son (I don’t have one) but you are still confused on what it means to be a man I highly recommend you read this book!
